Wonderxchange FC have been drawn in Group C of the second edition of the Bet9ja Ondo State Football League, alongside Celecal Stars FC, SGIC FC, Premier FC, and Muyi Stars FC. The tournament is scheduled to kick off anytime soon, with the first match being played at the Owo Center. The tournament promises to be an exciting and competitive one, with each team vying to come out on top and qualify for the knockout stages. With a total of five teams in the group, the competition is sure to be fierce and the teams will need to work hard to come out on top.

The Lions took part in the maiden edition of the tournament held last year but failed to make it out of their group to the playoff stages. There will be a lot of pressure on them this year in order to put up a much better performance. The Lions have a lot to prove and will be eager to show that their poor performance last year was a fluke and that they have the ability to compete with the best teams in the tournament.

“We will work hard in order to improve on our performance from last season and we want to prove that we are worthy of a spot in the playoffs and show the world that we should be taken seriously” – said Michael Olayiwola.

The chairman of the organizing committee, Akogun Yomi Seriki, has assured clubs and stakeholders that the organizers are working to make this year’s edition a much better success than last year. He also stated that the main aim of the committee is to be able to make the competition’s sponsors proud and make the platform a means of raising young generational talents for the development of football in Nigeria.

Wonderxchange FC will be hoping to make a good impression in the tournament and qualify for the playoff stages this time around. The Lions have a good mix of experience and youth, and they will be confident of their chances of success.
