Congratulations to Afolabi Adeyina, who has been voted the award winner by the club management panel for the first time. 

The rock-solid defensive midfielder enjoyed a fine outing for September and gathered 60% of the club management’s votes.

Afolabi was an ever-present figure for his side in all matches played in September and was rock solid in the base of the midfield putting in a series of impressive performances to make sure his side lost no game throughout the month as they won 2 and drew one from the three matches played.

 

However, the highlight of his good outing came in the huge upset win against Sunshine Stars, where he repelled and had an answer to all questions asked by the state team’s attack.

He topped a shortlist that included Sunday Amaechi, Bello Olayemi, and Opeyemi Ogundumila.
