Wonderxchange FC returned to winning ways in style, seeing off Reignz FC 3-1 at Dipo Dina Stadium to notch their second victory of the NLO campaign.
It was a dream start for the Lions, with captain Lekan heading home inside the opening five minutes from a well-delivered Omolade corner. The early lead was doubled when Glory finished off a slick move orchestrated by Odunayo, his second goal of the tournament.
Though Reignz FC halved the deficit before the break, Wonderxchange showed great resilience. Imoleayo stood tall in goal, and Coach James Aiyeyemi’s second-half substitutions made an impact. Damilola’s quick thinking from a foul led to Odunayo sealing the result with a composed finish late on.
With 7 points from 4 matches, the Lions are roaring into the second half of the group stage with renewed momentum.
