Musa’s impressive performances for the Mens first earned him the Wonderxchange Player of the Month award for August.

The young prodigy enjoyed a fine turnout for the month of August after scoring two goals in 2 games to make sure his side had a clean slate in August without blemishes. His first goal for the month came against Royal Gold FC when he opened the scoreline with a good finish from outside the box. However, the highlight of his perfect August came in his side’s 2-1 win against Golden Jet FC after he was brought on in the second half with the scores tied at 1-1 and almost looked like the game was heading for a draw before Hassan Musa pulled a winner right at the death with a calm-finish to secure a vital victory for his side.

 

Musa’s fine turnout for the month of August saw him amass a whooping 80% of the club panel’s total votes, which was no surprise as he had an August to remember.

He topped a shortlist that also included Ojo Oluwaseun, Bello Olayemi, and Lewey Abednego with an extensive margin after votes were collated.
