Check out snapshots from our training session this morning as preparation for Bet9ja State League hots up.

The coaches have been making sure the boys are getting well prepared for the task ahead with a lot of training drills and tactical plans being mastered. Teams A and B were put to test to face themselves in an intra-squad training match yesterday which saw team A claim a narrow victory which they won by 2 goals to 1 with Okorie Chinedu and Dahunsi Tobi scoring for Team A while Ogundumila Opeyemi scored what later turned out to be a consolation goal for Team B who put up a very good fight and were unfortunate to have gone behind very early in the game when Oluwatobi pounced on a loose ball to fire his team in front.

The trio of Segun Emmanuel, Lewey Abednego and Bello Olayemi were so instrumental for Team B in midfield and made sure the likes of Terdoo Melody and Adeyina Afolabi didn’t have it easy for the A side. Chinedu doubled the lead for his side just before the halftime after breaking free and sent an unstoppable effort past Otaki Tope in goal. Team B however got back into the encounter stronger and asked the A side’s defense all questions before finally getting a breakthrough before the end of the game to settle for a narrow loss.

The coaches has however revealed more of this intra-squad encounters will be seen to continue to make sure both teams get used to the tactics being put in place ahead of the forthcoming league.
