Lions get big test game against Benin Arsenal

The Lions will be making a trip to Benin City, the Edo state capital in the southern part of Nigeria to engage the state side who just got promoted to the NPFL last season from the NNL after sealing their top spot with a one-nil victory over Vandrezzer to secure their move back to the NPFL after 11 years absence.

This fixture will be a very big test for the lions as it will be their first experience of traveling outside the state to engage a premier league side and promises to be a good test for the boys and an experience to be relieved.

The Benin-Arsenal aside from preparing for the new season are also preparing to make a trip to Bayelsa state to take part in the NNL super four alongside Bayelsa United, El-Kanemi warriors and Doma United.
