Lions to battle it out against Pacemakers in first game of season

The Lions will be up against Pacemakers FC in what will be the first game of the season since resumption

This will be the first meeting between the two sides as both will be eager to claim bragging rights.

The Lions who have added some fresh legs to the squad in the just concluded screening exercise will be looking to start the year on a positive note with a win as preparations for the new season continue while the team also prepares ahead of the Prince Olumide preseason tournament scheduled to be held in Ekiti this weekend.

Pacemakers FC however finished 3rd on the log in the Blaze Premier League last season and thumped Signatures FC by 6 goals to 2 in a friendly match on the 20th of January.
