Wonder Lions to battle it out against the Akure Gunners in a friendly encounter.

The Lions will be locking horns with the state team in a friendly match on Thursday July 14th at the Akure Township Stadium. The NPFL side are preparing for a trip to the south eastern part of the country for the last game of the season against relegation troubled Dakkada FC while the Lions on the other hand will use the encounter to further intensify preparations for the forthcoming Bet9ja state league.

The game will definitely give more than just a friendly vibe as it’s an “Akure South derby” and we should get nothing less than a derby showdown tomorrow.
