This clinic is targeted at young players under the age of 15 and aims to provide them with expert coaching, skill development, and mentorship from some of Nigeria’s most respected football professionals. The event will be held at the SMA Catholic Playing Ground, a premier venue ideal for fostering growth and learning in young athletes.
The clinic offers an opportunity for aspiring footballers to enhance their technical and tactical abilities, while also building a strong mindset and learning the values necessary for long-term success in football.
Meet the Facilitators
Comrade Oluwatope Ayokunle (TUBABA) – Football Consultant & Ambassador of Talent Discovery, Wonderxchange FC
Comrade Oluwatope Ayokunle, also known as TUBABA, is a renowned football consultant with an exceptional track record in discovering and nurturing young football talent across Southwest Nigeria. With degrees from **Ambrose Alli University** and a master’s from **University of Ilorin**, TUBABA has devoted over two decades to scouting and grassroots football development, discovering numerous players who have gone on to make a mark in both national and international football.
As the Ambassador of Talent Discovery for Wonderxchange FC, TUBABA has made a significant impact on youth football. His passion for service, leadership, and football development has earned him widespread recognition. At the clinic, TUBABA will deliver a Motivation and Mental Toughness Workshop, where he will share his expertise on how young players can overcome obstacles and develop the right mindset for success.
Coach Olayiwola Michael – Head Coach, Wonderxchange FC
As the Head Coach of Wonderxchange FC, Coach Olayiwola Michael has built a reputation as a leading developer of young football talent. With over a decade of coaching experience, he has successfully led his team through multiple competitions, combining grassroots development with elite-level performance. His dedication to nurturing the next generation of football stars is a driving force behind his success at Wonderxchange FC.
During the clinic, Coach Olayiwola will lead tactical training sessions, focusing on positioning, team coordination**, and **match strategy, helping participants to sharpen their football intelligence and technical ability.
Coach Kayode Julius – Veteran Coach and Football Administrator
Coach Kayode Julius brings decades of experience as a player and coach, having contributed significantly to Nigerian football both on and off the field. Born in Owo, Ondo State, he has played for top clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), including Sunshine Stars FC, Shooting Stars FC, and Rangers Professional FC. His playing career as a midfielder earned him accolades such as Best Defensive Midfielder and a Gold Medal in the 1996 Nigeria National Challenge Cup.
As a coach, Kayode has held key leadership roles, including Head Coach positions at APA United FC, Sunshine Stars FC, and Rising Star FC. With certifications from the National Institute for Sports (NIS) and Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol (Brazil), Kayode holds a CAF C License and brings top-level expertise in football development. He will lead the **Technical Skills Training at the clinic, focusing on ball control, passing, and individual skill development to help young players improve their overall game.
