As the football season gains momemtum, Wonderxchange FC has received an official invitation to participate in the inaugural FC Ebedei U-19 invitational tournament. This invitation marks an exciting opportunity for our team to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience as we prepare for the upcoming NLO2 youth league. The tournament, organized by FC Ebedei, aims to assist participating clubs in their preparations for the fast-approaching league. With clubs from Ekiti, Ogun, Kwara, Oyo, and Osun states, this tournament promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent and determination.
The Tournament Format and Groups
The FC Ebedei U-19 invitational tournament spans four days, commencing on Wednesday, June 7th, and concluding on Saturday, June 10th. All the matches will be held at the prestigious FC Ebedei stadium in Sagamu, which serves as the perfect venue to showcase the skills and abilities of these young footballers. The tournament will feature six clubs, including Wonderxchange, from different states. These clubs have been divided into two groups, Group A and Group B. In Group A, Wonderxchange will face formidable opponents in Agbana FA from Ekiti and House of Prayer FC from Kwara. Group B comprises Elebuibon Boys FC from Osun, FC Ebedei Jnr from Ogun, and Housing Estate FC from Oyo. Each team will have a chance to compete against one another, demonstrating their abilities and striving to secure victories throughout the tournament. The composition of our group presents an exciting challenge as we face off against formidable opponents. However, it also offers an excellent opportunity for our young talents to test their mettle against diverse playing styles and tactics.
