The Lions have been extended an invitation to participate in a scouting program organized by Moyero Football club in partnership with the Ondo state football agency scheduled to commence tomorrow 31st October at the Akure township stadium alongside 11 other clubs including Lion’s sister club Olukismet FC.

The Lions have been drawn in group B alongside Sunshine stars B, Moyero FC, and Adeleke FC with Lion’s first game set to hold on Tuesday against Sunshine stars B.

A total of 13 teams (drawn into three groups) have been confirmed for the program, with four matches planned for Monday. The fixtures for Tuesday and Wednesday will be released soon.

The first game of the day between Tico and Propel of Jos comes up at 8:30 am while Sunshine Stars Team A takes on Olukismet FC by 10:00 am

Tico vs Propel Jos – 8:30 am  

Olukismet vs Sunshine Team A – 10:00 am

Gateway FA vs Da Faria – 12:00 noon 

Agbana FA vs Opeyemi FC – 4:00 pm

The draw and fixtures for the program were held at Rafel Teju Hotel, New stadium Akure and present were representatives from all invited teams, the co-host and Owner of Moyero FC, the coordinator of the program Mr. Akinbobola, and also Sunshine Stars coordinator also represented the commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mr. Tokunbo Akinyelure.

Moyer FC club owner while speaking before the draw was held promised a free and fair program and promised that none of the organizers will meddle in the selection of players as only the invited Swiss agents will be left to do the selection based on player’s performance and encouraged all teams to present their best legs to have their club represented by the end of the program.
