WonderXchange FC is excited to announce its participation in the X-One Scouting Tournament from October 12-14, 2023, at the Gateway International Stadium in Ilaro Ogun State. The tournament will feature six teams, including WonderXchange FC, Sparrow FA, Craig FA, Borax FA, Amazing Boys, and X-One Soccer Academy.
The X-One Scouting Tournament is a prestigious event that attracts some of the best young talent in Nigeria. The tournament designed to give scouts an opportunity to identify and evaluate potential players is recognized for its high level of competition and it is a great opportunity for Wonderxchange FC to showcase its players and compete against other top teams.
The team will arrive in Ilaro on October 11th and will have a chance to train before the tournament begins. The Lions will play three matches in the X-One Scouting Tournament. The team’s fixtures are as follows:
- Day 1 (12 October): WonderXchange FC vs Sparrow FA (10:00am)
- Day 2 (13 October): WonderXchange FC vs Craig FA (10:00am)
- Day 3 (14 October): X-One Selected Side vs WonderXchange FC (10:00am)
WonderXchange FC’s Traveling Squad
The traveling squad for the X-One Scouting Tournament will be announced on October 11th. The team is expected to be led by captain Lekan Ajeyomi and vice-captain Afolabi Adeyina and a number of talented players who are capable of making a big impact in the tournament. Some of the players to watch include striker Chinedu Okorie, midfielder Terdoo Melody, and defender Miracle Edwin.
Wonderxchange FC’s Expectations for the Tournament
Michael Olayiwola is confident that the team will perform well in the tournament. “The team has been training hard and is looking forward to competing against some of the best teams in the country. The team is also looking to use the tournament as an opportunity to showcase its young talent and attract the attention of professional scouts.” – said Coach Michael.
