Wonderxchange FC have been paired with Ekiti United FC in the quarter-final of the Aiteo Cup, following the online draw which was held this morning by Ekiti FA.

The Lions will face the state side Ekiti United tomorrow in a single elimination match at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium by 3pm (Nigerian time).

Wonderxchange prevailed over Eagle Stars to secure a place in the quarter finals of this year’s Aiteo cup. The Lions progressed by winning 3-2 in the tightly contested match played at Ijero Township Stadium the day before.

Our one previous meeting with Ekiti United was at the Super 8 Invitational Tournament held last year with the Lions losing by a lone goal with the tie taking place at Bouesti Sports Complex, Ikere-Ekiti. This encounter promises to be a very competitive one as the Lions will be looking to avoid losing to the State team.
