Michael Olayiwola has picked his squad of players to travel for X-One tourney in Ogun State

Wonderxchange FC has announced their squad for the upcoming X-One Scouting Tournament in Ogun State. The Lions boss Michael Olayiwola has picked a 18-man group for the Ilaro tourney, which starts with a match against Sparrows on Thursday before they return the following day to take on the Craig FC.

The squad includes a mix of experienced players and youngsters, with young prodigy Sule Sikiru earning his first call-up having been training with the Lions over the weeks.

Michael’s squad will report to St. Theresa Ground on Wednesday 11 October, where they will begin their journey to Ilaro, Ogun state for the preparation of their X-One tourney first match against Sparrow FC which is being played on Thursday 12 October (10am NG)

The squad is as follows:

Goalkeeper: Tope Otaki

Defenders: Lekan Ajeyomi, Ojo Seun, Samson Adegbite, Mathias Gowon, Sunday Osasu, Omolade Ibitayo, Miracle Edwin.

Midfielders: Dotun Olafisoye, Abednego Lewey, Melody Terdoo,  Afolabi Adeyina, Sikiru Sule.

Forwards: Ameachi Sunday, Opeyemi Michael, Musa Hassan, Chinedu Okorie, Emmanuel Gbemisola.

 

 

Olayiwola is confident that his squad has the potential to do well in the tournament. He said: “I am very pleased with the squad that I have named for the X-One Scouting Tournament. We have a good mix of experience and youth, and I am confident that we can compete with the best teams in the tournament.”
